Waller County, August 14, 2023 — With an unwavering dedication to the people of Waller County, Vicki LeBlanc proudly announces her candidacy for Waller County Commissioner, Precinct 1.
With a track record of community service and a deep understanding of the needs of our county, I am the right choice for Commissioner. I am a dedicated conservative who is committing myself to serving as a full-time Commissioner, working on behalf of the people of Precinct 1.
A commitment must be honored.
I don’t take commitment lightly. I recognize the importance of the commitment I am making to the people of Precinct 1 and will work every day to fulfill it. As your commissioner, I pledge:
RELIABLE
To be there when you need me. I am committed to addressing the needs of every resident. I will be available when you need help from Waller County.
FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY
To watch out for your money. It’s not the government’s money, it’s ours! I will be actively involved in the budget process and be sure that our money is spent wisely. I won’t just talk about it; I will do something!
SAFETY
Safety will be a top priority. I know that in these times, public safety is on everyone’s mind. I am committed to ensuring the safety and security of our families and neighborhoods. I will work closely with law enforcement agencies to enhance public safety and reduce crime rates. I will promote emergency preparedness and response initiatives to protect our community during natural disasters and other emergencies.
INFRASTRUCTURE
Investing in our infrastructure is an investment in our future. We must balance the need for infrastructure, like roads, bridges and maintenance with the pain folks feel every year when they pay their property taxes. The challenges of a fast-growing county like Waller create tough, sometimes impossible choices for our elected officials. I will always put the needs of the people of Precinct 1 first when making the hard decisions required of your commissioner. I know that in the end we must strike a balance between available resources and what we must do today to secure the success of tomorrow.
More About Vicki:
I am a staunch advocate for the people of Waller County. When our quality of life was threatened by a dangerous landfill, unnecessary airport, an intrusive superhighway or a boondoggle bullet train, I worked shoulder to shoulder with Waller County citizens, to defeat these threats.
There will always be threats, but as your commissioner, I will serve on the front lines of the fight every day. My goal is to solve the challenges we face today and tomorrow while staying true to the ideals that make Waller County a wonderful place to live. I have a strong commitment to conservative values and a passion for making Waller County the best place to live. I am ready to serve as your County Commissioner, Precinct 1.
